Haier 40 Litre Water Heater Geyser (Horizontal) ES40H-CK3(BD)

Haier 40 Litre Horizontal Geyser – Everyday Hot Water, Lasting Comfort

The Haier 40 Litre Geyser (Horizontal), model ES40H-CK3(BD), is designed for households looking for a practical storage water heater with horizontal installation. It combines a 40-litre capacity with 2200W rated power, mechanical control, an enamelled steel inner tank, Shock Proof protection and an IPX4 water-resistance rating. The model also includes UMC Tank technology, an Incoloy 800 SS Heating Element and a magnesium rod.

For customers choosing between smaller and larger storage models, the Haier 40 Litre Water Heater offers an intermediate capacity to consider. The right choice depends on how much hot water you use, whether people bathe one after another, and the available mounting space. A storage capacity alone does not guarantee a particular number of showers or users.

40 Litre Capacity with Horizontal Installation

With its 40-litre storage capacity, the ES40H-CK3(BD) provides a useful option for households that need more stored hot water than compact-capacity models. The horizontal installation design also allows customers to select a configuration according to their available installation space. To compare different capacities and brands, explore the Geyser Price in Bangladesh collection.

Choose this horizontal model when its specified orientation suits your installation layout. Before ordering, have a qualified installer check the wall, mounting clearances and access to plumbing and electrical connections. Compare the manufacturer’s installation requirements with your actual space rather than selecting by capacity alone.

2200W Rated Power and Mechanical Control

The Haier ES40H-CK3(BD) has a rated power of 2200W and operates on a 220V~50Hz power supply. Its mechanical control system keeps everyday operation straightforward, while the rated temperature reaches up to 75°C.

Rated power describes the heating element’s electrical demand while operating; it does not mean the geyser uses that amount continuously throughout the day. Actual energy use depends on heating duration, incoming water temperature, the selected setting and hot-water consumption. The rated temperature is a product specification, not a recommended bathing temperature.

Enamelled Steel Inner Tank with UMC Tank Technology

This Haier water heater uses an enamelled steel inner tank and includes UMC Tank technology. These specifications form an important part of the model's storage-tank construction and durability-focused design.

Haier describes UMC as Ultra Micro Coating and identifies a three-layer coating in this model’s tank construction. When comparing storage geysers, consider the inner tank alongside warranty coverage and the maintenance requirements in the product manual.

Incoloy 800 SS Heating Element and Magnesium Rod

The ES40H-CK3(BD) includes an Incoloy 800 SS Heating Element and a magnesium rod. Together with its 2200W rated power and enamelled steel inner tank, these features provide a practical configuration for regular household hot-water requirements.

Haier identifies the element as Incoloy 800 SS and describes the magnesium rod as a sacrificial anode that helps protect the tank. Ask authorised service personnel about inspection and replacement requirements; do not assume the rod lasts for the full tank-warranty period.

Shock Proof Protection and IPX4 Water Resistance

The Haier ES40H-CK3(BD) includes Shock Proof protection and an IPX4 water-resistance rating. These protection features are particularly relevant for an electric water heater. Installation and electrical connection should always follow the manufacturer's instructions and applicable electrical safety requirements.

IPX4 indicates protection against splashing water; it does not mean the unit can be submerged. Shock Proof protection does not replace correct earthing, suitable electrical protection or professional installation. Follow the product manual when selecting the installation position and electrical connection.

8 Bar Rated Pressure

The Haier ES40H-CK3(BD) has an 8 bar rated pressure. Customers should consider the product's pressure specification together with their installation conditions when selecting and installing a storage water heater.

Ask the installer to check the incoming water pressure and the required safety fittings before connection. The 8-bar rating should not be used as a reason to ignore pressure control or the installation instructions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a 40-litre geyser suitable for my household?

Consider how much hot water you use at one time, the time between users and the opportunity to reheat. A 40-litre tank may be worth comparing with 30L and 50L models, but capacity alone cannot guarantee a fixed number of showers.

What should I check before horizontal installation?

Have a qualified installer check wall strength, the specified mounting orientation, clearances, plumbing and electrical requirements. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and confirm the required fittings before installation.

What warranty is listed for this model?

SL Electronics lists 7 years for the tank, 4 years for the heating element, 1 year for parts and 1 year of free service. Coverage is subject to the applicable warranty terms; retain the invoice and warranty card.

Are installation accessories included?

Confirm the current installation offer and accessories charges before ordering. Labour, additional pipework, fittings and other materials may have separate conditions. Request a clear quotation for your installation.

Should I choose a 30L, 40L or 50L geyser?

Compare the amount of hot water needed between heating cycles and the installation space. A smaller tank holds less water, while a larger tank offers a larger stored reserve. Choose using your actual usage and each model’s installation requirements.

Compare Haier Geysers and Other Water Heater Options

Start with your expected hot-water use, then compare capacity and installation layout. If you need a smaller stored-water reserve, consider the Haier 30 Litre Horizontal Geyser. If you expect higher usage between heating cycles, compare the Haier 50 Litre Horizontal Geyser. More storage also means checking whether the larger unit suits your available mounting space.

For a different mounting arrangement, explore the Haier 30 Litre Vertical Water Heater. For a smaller-capacity option, view the Haier 15 Litre Portable Water Heater. Check each model’s current availability, dimensions, mounting instructions and warranty before deciding. Horizontal and vertical models should be installed only in their specified orientation.
